And although a source close to her family confirmed her pregnancy, Ash insists,

That’s been going around for a year now. Only time will tell with that.

Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy bassist) denies his 23-year-old fiancee Ashlee Simpson is pregnant.

Celebrity magazines Us Weekly and OK! published stories on their websites claiming the pop star was pregnant just days after they announced their engagement.

Wentz,28, told MTV News in an email that: "There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood."

He wrote: "This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. ... I mean really, this is crazy. ... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."

The couple have been together since 2006.

Ashlee Simpson is engaged to her rocker beau Pete Wentz, according to a post on FriendsorEnemies.com.

“We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best. Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged,” Simpson wrote.

Simpson and Wentz, the bassist in emo-rocking sensations Fall Out Boy, have been dating since 2006.

Wet Seal is the latest retailer or apparel company to team up with a celebrity. Nordstrom is partnering with Fall Out Boy. Rachel Bilson, a former star of “The O.C.”, is designing for DKNY. And Avril Lavigne is Kohl’s new girl.

The Wet Seal collection features designs inspired by Simpson’s personality, style and artwork from her ablum, Bittersweet World. CEO Ed Thomas called Simpson’s sense of style “fun and flirty.”

Ever since she appeared on televisions all over the world in her MTV reality show, Ashlee Simpson has been a fixture in American popular culture.  And she has finally set a release date for her much-anticipated third album Bittersweet World.

The “La La” singer was spotted lunching at Café Med restaurant on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California yesterday, sporting a tattoo on her wrist and a casual ensemble including a striped v-neck, cardigan sweater and stretch pants.

Simpson’s new album has officially been slated for an April 22nd release date, although one of the album’s tracks, “Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya) was digitally released in December (it has sold 117,000 digital copies thus far).

The first official single from Bittersweet World is called “Little Miss Obsessive” and features Plain White T’s frontman (and pal of Ashlee’s man, Pete Wentz) Tom Higginson on vocals.

According to preliminary reviews, the album has a definite ‘80s vibe to it.  And Ashlee wouldn’t have it any other way.  She told press, “I almost wish I lived my 20s in the ‘80s.  A lot of the record is a bit cheeky. Sometimes I’m writing about something serious, but it was fun for me to kind of goof around as well.”

She may have hit records and an uber-hot boyfriend, but Ashlee Simpson loves to go shopping just as much as the next girl.

The “La La” singer was spotted by the paparazzi yesterday looking happy and relaxed after her recent Jamaican holiday with sweetie Pete Wentz.

Simpson was leaving Bristol Farms in Hollywood following an afternoon shopping excursion with a gal pal.  She looked chic in an all-black ensemble including a capsleeve t-shirt, stretch pants and a massive purse.

And the “Outta My Head” songstress recently admitted that her widely-publicized nose job surgery hasn’t really done what she thought it would do regarding her self-image.  “(Plastic surgery) is something that everybody should think about for a really long time. Once you know it’s something you really feel comfortable with, then to each their own.  I was never really unhappy with how I looked, (and) I don’t think I am more beautiful than I was (before). I just see the same old goofy girl I see every day.”

Singer Ashlee Simpson is finally talking about her nose job in the Us Magazine’s 2008 Beauty Makeover Special issue.

“I think as long as people have two eyes, then you probably know the answer,” Simpson said of the April 2006 rhinoplasty, which she has long refused to discuss.

“[Plastic surgery] is something that everybody should think about for a really long time,” she said in the issue. “Once you know it’s something you really feel comfortable with, then to each their own.

“I was never really unhappy with how I looked, [and] I don’t think I am more beautiful than I was [before],” she said. “I just see the same old goofy girl.”

This is the rumored new album cover for Ashlee Simpson’s Bittersweet World. I’m not sure who was thinking when they did this one. It is also on Geffen’s website too. What do you think? A hit or a miss?

Ashlee Simpson has had some rough times. Remember that lip syncing incident on “Saturday Night Live” which she followed by, in her words, “a hoedown?” In case you want to see it again, I posted it below. Anyways, Simpson told Extra on Friday that, “I would love to do Saturday Night Live again! I feel like last time I went back I conquered it!” Whatever you say girl. Just make sure your band doesn’t mess up again, you don’t have a sore throat, and you don’t feel the need to do a jig instead of performing on the next appearance. Her new CD, Bittersweet World, is in stores April 22nd so we’ll be seeing her a lot in the upcoming weeks promoting it I’m sure.

Ashlee Simpson was on DC’s Hot 99.5 this morning. She was slurring her words at times, and sounded drunk from her partying the night before. Ashlee said in the interview she’s impulsive so she got this hideous flower tattoo. Stupid. Throughout the entire interview she just kept laughing this moronic laugh like you’d hear in a movie about white trash folk. Plus she forgot the lyrics to her new song, as if that’s a surprise. She sounded like such a stupid trashy immature little girl. Public appearances, and interviews, is how we get to know celebrities

Ashlee’s rep issued the following statement:
"Ashlee was absolutely not intoxicated this morning on Hot 99.5. She has been working extremely hard traveling across the country to promote her upcoming new album by performing at night and waking up very early the next day to do radio interviews in the morning, like any of us would be, she was simply just tired."

Ashlee is also impulsive as she said, so if she feels like getting drunk at the moment, she does it. It must suck to be her rep when she effs up. Bad public appearances are like tattoos, they last forever.

Her new single “Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)” is out, and now Ashlee Simpson has begun promoting the heck out of it.  And yesterday she made a stop at a Pennsylvania Wal-Mart to meet and greet fans.

The new album “Bittersweet World” doesn’t actually hit stores until April 22nd, but the 3-song “Outta My Head” EP is reportedly doing pretty well.  And the “La La” singer’s fans were willing to wait nine hours in line just to meet her.

Ashlee looked to have borrowed some gear from her boyfriend Pete Wentz when she showed up at the Bensalem, Pennsylvania store.  She wore a hooded jacket, cutoff gloves, a pair of dark trousers and a white tee shirt.

And speaking of white tees, Simpson’s next single “Little Miss Obsessive” is said to include a guest appearance from none other than Tom Higgenson of Plain White Ts.  Rock and Roll!
